Mad About March and St. Pat's

Passing Notes Today:  Mrs. O'Gosling

For each petal on the shamrock.
This brings a wish your way
Good health, good luck, and happiness
For today and every day.

.... not only because it's my Birthday month (wah, wah) but because it hosts the happiest, luckiest and most energetic (in my opinion) holiday of the year - ST. PATRICK'S DAY!!!  Everyone is Irish on St. Patrick's Day!

My obsession with this holiday started when I was young.  Not only am I Irish, I have an entirely huge Irish family, we have had many dogs with many Irish names (Murphy, Finnegan, Griffin, Patty, Hennessey, Clancy ..), I married an Irish man, had an Irish wedding shower and I {heart} the color green.  So naturally, March 17th has become a very special day on our calendar.  It is also wedged in between tax return season and the beginning of planting season - LOVE IT!  If I could bottle up the feeling I get every St. Patrick's Day and sprinkle it around for the rest of my life, I would.

March is also a great time to start refreshing the house, doing crafts with the kiddies, starting those young gardens (inside of course) and cleaning up your Pinterest page.  I like to do this once a year, to weed out what I really don't care for and load up on what I love.

Slainte!

Okay fine, he's not a St. Patrick's Day" pinterest worthy pin" BUT he is wearing a green shirt, holding a greenish tennis ball, running near greenery and probably headed to Starbucks where green is their signature color.  What's not to be mad about?  I knew you would see it my way!

Note from Mrs. Kelly:  You really ARE mad about March.
