Pop of Blue

Passing Notes Today:  Mrs. Kelly

Hey guys,

So you know my bathroom (I know, I have to post the updates)?  Well, we decided one way to save some money was to leave the existing built in medicine cabinet.  Here's what it looked like before:

It always stood out because it was a different color from the wall. This time I thought we could paint it to match the wall color so it would be a bit more discreet.  It was kind of boring though.  And then one day when I was at Target, I was venturing down an aisle and saw some contact paper.  All at once, I thought there might be a way to add some oomph to my boring medicine cabinet.

First we painted. Then I removed all the contents. There were lots of things lurking in that there cabinet.

Then I measured the interior and carefully cut a piece of contact paper to match. I placed it in the back of the wall cabinet kind of like you would when hanging wallpaper. Really simple!

Now there's a fun pop of blue when you open my cabinet.

It even makes the shampoo bottles prettier!

Hmm. Maybe I need a pop of blue.

Forever in blue jeans and blue contact paper,

Note from Mrs. Williams:  That's such a fun way to add personality to the cabinet.  Where did you find the contact paper?
